This beautiful park is just north of the polar circle and leads around the west side of the Sarek national park. The hike itself is following a valley and the height differences are very modest. In easy day distances you'll find huts where you can stay over night. Tenting is of course also possible.
In the middle of the trail is a bigger place with a helicopter service. That's actually the only thing I didn't like there -- daily several flights in and out and they always follow the valley and make a lot of noise. We've been there in September, it was rather cool and often rainy as can be expected up there. One week earlier there was snow all over the Sarek park down to low altitudes. Daylight at that time of year is from about 3am to 10pm interrupted by a short not really dark night.
I was lugging around a Minolta SLR with a 200m zoom which came in very handy. Only problem I had are the extreme contrasts and even color slides can't cope. The scans are mostly even worse but in some cases I could readjust the contrasts while scanning to actually improve the picture.
