Durgapuja in Kalpakkam
In Kalpakkam a commitee (they've got one for allt different festivals organising them every year) organised a Durgapuja. Durga is a very ferrociously depicted Goddess with 10(?) arms attacking a Bull-Daemon with the help of a lion and a cobra. The Organisers were Bengali and they did it in their style with lots of drums and some dancing. As the Durgapuja is the story of a big fight of Durga against the Daemon the festivals lasts ten days and there is some cultural programme every evening.
