The trip to India

Right away the trip to India gets off on the wrong foot. The plane to London is late. So late that 2 hours scheduled switching time are not enough to catch the connecting flight to Chennai. So I've plenty of time to see London airprot at night. Then I've not enough time to go on the free city tour in Singapore but arrive at night instead of early morning which at least is much preferable by Murthy. The luggage didn't make it on one of the connections and arrives quite intact two days later including taxi delivery to Kalpakkam (80km). By then Murthy got me some Indian pants, shirts, underwear and what else I needed on the expense of Singapore airline.... So thing started to be quite fine from my first day in India ;-)
